"Tim Today" keeps South Dakotans and visitors to Senator Johnson's United States Senate website up-to-date on the goings on with the senior Senator from South Dakota. 07/02/09I just completed three health care hearings in Sioux Falls, Yankton and Mitchell. After listening to testimony from health care providers and our constituent’s concerns, I will head back to Washington next week with South Dakotans in mind as we try to reform our system. Also during my Congressional District Work Period, I joined the U.S. Treasury Department’s CDFI Fund in Kyle, S.D. to unveil $11 million in financial assistance awards for Native CDFIs. This weekend, I will be spending time with my family in South Dakota and catching up on reading about a wide-range of issues that we will be debating in the coming weeks in the Senate. I hope everyone has a great Independence Day weekend.
